Name: Robynn
Age: 3 1/2
Height: 23”
Length: 4’
Weight: 50lb
Description: A small built female that doesn’t appear to have strength on her side. A long shaggy coat of a golden-wheat shade rests above the sandy tone that resides at her belly, chest, legs, face, and under side of her tail. A light brownish runs along her spine starting from the back of her head and running in a long “mane” down her hackles and ending at her rump, the color then picks up engulfing half the color on the top side of her tail. The same tone of brown also colors her ears and bridge of her muzzle that runs from between tawny eyes to her nose. The darkest shade on this wolf is the dark brown that takes up the tip of her bushy tail.
Personality: Robynn is somewhat of an introvert, preferring to be alone than with ones she doesn’t know. She’s a bit of a “dreamer” always stealing away to stare at the stars for reasons of only her own. She’s very submissive to all wolves, having been the Omega in her old pack. When others (that she knows) are tense, she can feel it and will generally attempt to liven the mood with a bit of play or affection. She will generally flee from any danger, but if someone in her pack is in real danger she will do what she can. When with a pack or others she’s comfortable with she’s very affectionate and caring. This can also be taken as her submissive behavior as well.
History: Robynn was born the runt in a litter of three. She was born into a wonderful pack with a black and tan alpha male and a tawny alpha female (her parents) to guide them. With the newest offspring this built the pack up to a nice total of 9 wolves.
As her first year neared the end a tragedy struck the pack when their territory was encroached upon by humans. One night the alphas went to get a better look, and left the pups with their beta and caretaker. Unfortunately they never returned home and were presumed dead when a scout ran across a sample of their blood. There was no question who took next in line as the Beta stepped up to the leading role.
As the pups grew, their place in the pack was quickly decided. Robynn being the less aggressive and slightly weaker of her siblings was forced into the role of Omega. She learned that her role was a harsh one, but still never saw herself as less of a wolf because of it. She knew her role was just as important as everybody else’s, so she accepted her fate.
Near the middle of her second year in life Robynn’s whole world came crashing down. First it started with a bit of a run in with a very hungry cougar. Robynn had wandered too far from the pack while they fed (Omega = last to feed) and had been pounced from above. The first thing the cougar had managed to grab was her hindquarters. With bone crushing strength the cougar fought the frantic Robynn to the ground where it tried to pin her. Luckily her pack mates were alerted and rushed to her rescue before the cougar could get his jaws around her throat. However the damage was done. Her right hind leg was injured greatly, slowing her down. There was debate after this attack that if she was even of any use to the pack anymore- she would slow them down. But all was decided that she would remain with them.
Well- all was well all she healed. Her leg never sitting right again caused a bit of a limp during cold and damp nights. But all seemed peaceful again. That is……. Until the wolves had another run in with the humans. Guns were fired, Wolves scattered. Robynn watched from the safety of the timberline as her litter-mates fell to their demise. Two other bodies from her pack lay off in the distance. She could only imagine what fate the others fell to. She suffered no injuries herself- save for the emotional ones. She was now a loner without a pack. All night and day for five days she called to them but never received a reply. When she returned to the den- she found the newest pack members gone and the den wreaked of the pink fleshy creatures that took the lives of her family.
Robynn fled the territory and now wanders aimlessly- in search of that comfort her family once brought her… Yet she isn’t one to immediately trust those she meets. It is the main reason she is still alone. So will she ever find the security she once had?
Strengths: Despite her "bum leg" Robynn has learned to be quick and agile. Without much strength she couldn't hunt big game alone so she had to survive on small and fast prey such as rabbits.
Weaknesses: Robynn lacks brute strength. Also her leg has a tendency to give her troubles during bad weather (ex: rain/thunder storms & snow) Winter is the worst time of the year for Robynn.
